Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard love to hear their two-year-old daughter recite lines from Game of Thrones.

The 34-year-old actress and her husband Dax Shepard are parents to daughters Lincoln, two, and five-month-old Delta. Now Lincoln is old enough to talk the couple have a lot of fun with her, although she doesn't always understand a lot of what is going on.

"We’re big Game of Thrones fans, so we’ve trained her to say, 'Winter is coming.' And, 'You know nothing, Jon Snow.' These are catchphrases of hers," Dax laughed to People. "You know, standard stuff like that. We dress her up in Jon Snow’s outfit - I should say Kristen dresses her up in Jon Snow’s outfit."

Kristen has no problem being open about that, explaining she brought the toddler a "pretty cool" outfit made out of chainmail exactly for that purpose.

"[She wears it] with a big sword and a hood and a nice sort of felted, fake-fur knight-watch cape, and I made her stand on her [castle-shaped jungle gym ]... and she didn’t understand a lick of it, but it really made me happy."

Kristen and Dax, 40, are as far from stereotypical Hollywood parents as it's possible to be. Their kids don't watch TV or films so they have no idea their mom voices a character in Disney smash hit Frozen, and they also don't get spoilt.

Lincoln recently celebrated her birthday, but the pair didn't lavish her with hundreds of gifts and a massive cake. The little girl still loved her day though, which is evident when she singers her new favourite song.

"She sang 'Happy Birthday' to the carrots this morning at the grocery store, so if she is in a very good mood or likes you a lot, she’ll hit you with a 'Happy Birthday.' This morning I guess she was a fan of the carrots," Kristen laughed.
