Kristen Stewart 'plans letter to director's wife'
Kristen Stewart is apparently planning to write an apology letter to the wife of the director she had an affair with.
The 22-year-old actress publicly apologised to her boyfriend Robert Pattinson on Wednesday, revealing she was "deeply sorry" for her illicit romance with Rupert Sanders.
Now it has been claimed Kristen is eager to make amends with Rupert's wife Liberty Ross. She has reportedly decided to privately ask for the British model's forgiveness.
"Kristen didn't feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke," a source told RadarOnline. "Instead, she's going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions.
"She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology - but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first
"Kristen feels she made a terribly naïve mistake."
After photographs were released of Kristen and 41-year-old Rupert kissing in a car, the Twilight actress was quick to voice her regret.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," she said in a statement. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob.
"I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Rupert also came forward, saying he was "praying" he could save his marriage.
Rupert directed Kristen in Snow White and the Huntsman, which also saw Liberty play the star's onscreen mother.
Before the affair was made public, Liberty revealed in an interview that it was a "dream" to work with the "transfixing" younger star.
