Kristen Stewart apparently faces a race against time to "prove" herself to Robert Pattinson.
The actress is reportedly worried about what will happen between her and her Twilight co-star Robert once promotion for the final installment of the movie franchise is over.
The 26-year-old actor is due to fly to Australia in January to film his next movie The Rover and Kristen allegedly fears the time span isn't long enough for her to convince him she wants them to be together.
"Kristen feels she's not had enough time to prove how much she wants their relationship to work," a source revealed to British magazine Grazia.
"She wants to join Rob so that they can continue trying. While he clearly wants some breathing space, it does seem that part of this could well be payback to Kristen for the pain she's caused him."
The former couple has had a well documented rocky relationship since Kristen's affair with married director Rupert Sanders was revealed in July. The 22-year-old actress has reportedly been attempting to patch things up with Robert and it's thought they are still together.
"Only time will tell if they can make their relationship work," the source continued. "She broke his heart and he can't forget that."
