Kristin Chenoweth 'is home recovering'

Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth has been released from hospital after suffering a head injury Wednesday.

The diminutive actress was on the Brooklyn set of TV show The Good Wife when she was struck with a piece of lighting equipment and then fell to the floor.

When Kristin collapsed she hit her head on the concrete floor and was "knocked out cold."

Kristin's representatives have confirmed to TMZ that the star is now recuperating in her abode.

"Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering," Kristin's publicists told the website in a statement. "She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."

Kristin is no stranger to on-set accidents after she injured her neck during a pre-Broadway engagement of Wicked in 2003, fell off stage in 2006 while starring in The Apple Tree and injured her back in 2011 during production of TV show Glee when she fell down a flight of concrete stairs.
