Kudrow questions Sony execs
Lisa Kudrow is in disbelief over the hacked controversial emails written by Sony executives.
Last month hackers targeted Sony employee’s emails and a number of controversial messages from high-ranking execs were released to the public.
And Lisa can’t believe none of these officials knew their email confidentiality could be compromised by leaks.
"How come I know you don't write anything you don't want broadcast in an email? How come I know that? Who's advising people?" she asked during an interview with HuffPost Live.
"It doesn't matter how many times [an email] says 'This is confidential, meant for just between the sender and the recipient,' Why don't we know that there are no rules? Everything is broadcast and published. That's the part I just don't understand."
A host of troubling discussions took place in the leaked emails. Andrew Gumbert, Columbia Pictures’ president of business affairs and administration confirmed to co-chair of Sony Pictures Entertainment Amy Pascal that Jennifer Lawrence was paid less than her male co-stars were for their work in American Hustle. Race controversy was sparked as well, as Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin joked about what movies American President Barack Obama might like, listing all slavery related titles.
Rudin even called Angelina Jolie a “spoiled brat” in another exchange.
And Lisa is so shocked by the situation, she doesn’t even know where to stand.
"I mean, I have almost no opinions anymore," she joked.
Lisa Kudrow is making a hilarious return to TV, as she stars in new comedy Angie Tribeca opposite Rashida Jones, which will reach screens in 2015.
