The couple, who have recently had to battle rumours surrounding their six-year marriage, were spotted hugging and walked around with arms wrapped around each other's waists after the service at the Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles, reported People.com.
The Two And A Half Men star, 33, was spotted affectionately leaning down to talk to the 48-year-old actress.
Neither of their spokespeople have responded for comment about the status of their relationship.
Speculation over their marriage appeared after Demi tweeted a cryptic message about forgetting anger, which was thought to refer to them spending their sixth wedding anniversary separately.
Ashton later appeared to respond to the claims by tweeting a link, without comment, to his Spotify account where he was playing Public Enemy's Don't Believe The Hype.
The couple - who began dating in 2003 and married in 2005 - have shot down previous rumours that their marriage was on the rocks, which surfaced last year.
