Kylie Minogue reveals retirement fantasy

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue fantasises about her retirement - and there is "not a false eyelash in sight".

The Australian singer is celebrating 25 years in the music industry and it's got her thinking about when she might step away from the limelight.

The 44-year-old isn't planning to call it quits yet, but does sometimes find herself daydreaming about a more relaxed time in her future.

"I think about retiring all the time! I picture my retirement and I'm in a big house and doing lots of cooking and ordinary things in tracksuit bottoms," she told British magazine Closer. "My hair is in a topknot and there's not a false eyelash in sight. I look pretty terrible in the fantasy! I envision a big garden and dogs. Maybe even a family..."

Kylie is dating 34-year-old model Andrés Velencoso Segura and often considers having children with him. She battled breast cancer in 2005 and it might have affected her fertility, so she tries to maintain a relaxed attitude to kids.

"I still think a family would be lovely. If it's not meant to be, then it's not meant to be," she said.

Kylie has three nephews, including two-year-old Ethan who is her sister Dannii Minogue's son.

She has a close bond with the tot and tries to talk to him as much as possible.

"I Skype him all the time," she gushed. "He can hold the screen and we have chats. It's so lovely for him to be able to recognise my voice and face, even if I'm away a lot."

Trust your intuition about a domestic matter. If you think it's time to get a new place, start looking for one. You could find a home that cultivates tranquillity and relaxation. Escaping the fray will be a relief. Although you enjoy socialising, you also crave private time. Being able to watch movies, read books and listen to music replenishes your batteries. A needy relative could request help. This would be a good time to establish some healthy boundaries. Stop dropping everything for this relative's benefit.More
