Kym : I'd love to work with Jamie

Kym Marsh is encouraging people to donate to Text Santa this year

Kym Marsh has revealed she'd love to work with her actor husband Jamie Lomas, as long as they don't play lovers.

The Coronation Street star - who married the former Hollyoaks actor last month after four years together - is keen for the chance to act with her hubby.

Kym said: "I'd love to do something with Jamie - it would be brilliant. I don't think it would be good if we played lovers - like someone watching through your bedroom window! But it would be great to work together."

The 36-year-old actress and mother helped launch The Liverpool Santa Dash in aid of Text Santa at the weekend.

She said: "The Liverpool Santa Dash is supporting Text Santa and encouraging people to raise sponsorship on behalf of the Text Santa charities. I got the chance to launch this year's Santa Dash and am trying to get people to sign up, come down and run for charity. It's a fun way of getting people of all ages involved in raising money for some fantastic causes."

Kym added: "People get carried away with Christmas and everyone's caught up with wrapping presents and all the excitement. We often forget that there are people who have a hard time over the Christmas period and so it is important to remember that it's about giving and receiving."

::The Liverpool Santa Dash fun run in aid of ITV's six Text Santa charities takes place on December 2. For more information visit: www.itv.com/textsanta.
