Kym Marsh enjoys Disney tea party

Kym Marsh took her family to Disneyland Paris

Kym Marsh, Lisa Maxwell and Erin O'Connor were among the stars who enjoyed a special Mad Hatter's tea party to help mark the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.

Corrie star Kym - who attended the event with her children and partner Jamie Lomas - said she had an "amazing time" munching finger sandwiches, chocolate-dipped strawberries and cake alongside a host of Disney characters.

The actress and singer took her baby Polly to watch the theme park's new Disney Dreams! Show and said the one-year-old "absolutely loved the show and seeing the fireworks".

The trip was a nice break for Kym as she prepares to play soap legend Elsie Tanner in the Coronation Street stage musical Street Of Dreams, which will see the former Hear'Say star return to singing when it opens in May.

Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the long-running soap, said she is starting rehearsals soon, and added: "I'm really looking forward to it as it has been a while since I've done a show like that.

"I did feel a bit stupid in the wig and stuff! But she is such an icon - if I could have been anyone in the show I would have been Elsie Tanner."

Loose Women star Lisa said it was wonderful to return to the resort with her partner as an engaged couple, after making a Leap Year proposal in February.

The former Bill actress said of popping the question: "I was planning to for about two weeks, just testing the water, just hinting that I was thinking of asking in case he said no!"

Lisa, who took the couple's 12-year-old daughter Beau with her to Disney, also confessed she missed acting but said she didn't miss it enough to sacrifice time with her family.

"I'd rather be a better mother than a better actress. And I have the perfect work-life balance with Loose Women," she said.

You'll have to make an emotional appeal to your boss. Unless things change, you might have to find another job. You're a very tolerant person, but you can't handle toxic behaviour. A colleague who takes great pleasure in making everyone feel miserable should be reprimanded. Make it clear you aren't the only person who is suffering from their abuse. Explain how this bully is ruining morale. It's a system wide problem that needs to be nipped in the bud.More
