Lady C insists she was physically assaulted by Duncan Bannatyne when I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! wrapped on Sunday (06Dec15).

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Lady C called the police after claiming she was physically assaulted by fellow contest Duncan Bannatyne.

The pair clashed during their time on the show, with Lady C regularly referring to her nemesis as a "vain old goat". Now the royal biographer claims she was "shoved" by the former Dragon's Den star shortly after the final was won by Vicky Pattison on Sunday (06Dec15). She also says Duncan assaulted her son Dima.

"Thanks 4 (sic) supporting Dima and me when Duncan physically assaulted me on TV and him at the base camp. Police came but haven't pressed charges," she posted on Twitter.

Duncan swiftly denied the allegations on his own account, with a friend telling Britain's The Sun newspaper he doesn't want to discuss anything further when it comes to Lady C.

“Nobody saw it happen and just heard Dima yelling about it," an insider said of the alleged assault, according to the newspaper. "But then it kicked off. The pair had a verbal stand-off and were shouting all sorts of things at each other.”

Cops are thought to have shown up at the Versace Hotel in Australia, where the stars were staying, but say they have no record of any allegations of assault.

Neither Lady C nor Duncan showed up to the I'm a Celeb wrap party on Sunday night (06Dec15). According to Britain's The Mirror newspaper, things were just too awkward between the pair for them to make amends and celebrate.

"Everyone is happy the show is over and most of the celebs are happy Vicky won and was a worthy winner," a source said. "But there is unfinished business with Lady C and there it is definitely not a case of forgive and forget.

"There was no way Duncan, Tony (Hadley) and Lady C would have got on the same bus to go to the party anyway."

However, Duncan insists it's all speculation, tweeting: "Stories started by Owen Tonks "reporter" that I refused to attend a wrap party are made up by him as he is too lazy to do a proper job."
