Lady Gaga has revealed her early Christmas on social media.

Lady Gaga was given an early Christmas present from her music label bosses, who gifted the pop star a pet pony.

The Born This Way star was left stunned when a white horse, wearing a pink and gold harness and pink bow, arrived on her doorstep on Monday (21Dec15).

She took to Instagram.com to share a snap of her new pet, writing, "Today on my doorstep was delivered a White Angel from heaven. It felt like the old days of the record business, she's such a spiritual girl! A heartfelt thank you to John Janick and Steve Berman, the whole Interscope family. I will ride, and care for, and love her forever. I was so surprised!"

Gaga later posted another shot of the pony wearing a blanket with hay at its feet, adding the caption, "Night my sweet girl."

The star has always taken an interest in equestrian pursuits, and famously making her grand entrance on the red carpet at the 2013 American Music Awards on the back of a white stallion.

A report earlier this year (15) also revealed that her Malibu home is spread over six acres of land and is decked out with an eight-horse stable along with riding trails.

Rumours circulated she paid $24 million for the property, and the lavish home reportedly has a Mediterranean feel, featuring five bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and more than 10,260 square feet of living space as well as a bowling alley, saltwater pool and jacuzzi, and a private gym.

Gaga lives with fiancé Taylor Kinney and it was also reported the couple will tie the knot at the home, with her close friend Tony Bennett already confirming he will sing at their nuptials.
