Laura Fraser has told how she worried that she'd exaggerated her language skills to win her role on Breaking Bad.
The Scottish actress told US TV producers that she could speak German for her role.
Laura, 35, told Rolling Stone magazine: "They asked me in for the audition and I did a tape.
"Then I got an email, 'Do you speak German?' I was like, 'Absolutely, I speak some German.'
"I've done it in school, like I learned, 'Ich heisse Laura.' Basic German.
"But then I thought, 'Oh no, what's coming?'"
The Vanilla Sky actress said of the script: "It was corporate-speak German and it was a nightmare - it took me days to learn a little paragraph.
"Now I bore my family with it - it's my party trick."
