Lea Michele 'feeling stronger'

Lea Michele

Lea Michele is feeling stronger as time goes by since Cory's death.

The actress has been keeping a low profile since the death of her boyfriend Cory Montieth in a Vancouver hotel room in July.

After spending time with friends and family, she's recently returned to the Glee set, where she met co-star Cory in 2009.

"Lea is still very grief stricken, often breaking into tears. Everywhere she goes reminds her of Cory," an on-set insider told UK magazine Look. "But she is immensely brave, and every day she's getting stronger."

Earlier this month Lea braved the 2013 Teen Choice Award ceremony, held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles where she took the stage to accept the award for Choice TV Actress: Comedy.

In a tearful speech, she thanked fans for their support in the wake of Cory's sudden death last month. Insiders say she was sporting a special piece of jewellery to help her get through the event.

"The ring [she wore] is one Cory gave to her when they first started talking about marriage last year," an insider continued. "Wearing it gave her the extra strength she needed to get through the Teen Choice Awards - always Cory's favourite event of the year."

The friend added that although Cory wasn't going to propose to Lea with the ring she wore to the ceremony, marriage was something he had considered before his death.

"Cory was working up to asking Lea's father, Marc, for her hand in marriage. They got on like a house on fire so I'm sure he'd have given his blessing," the source finished.

Sagittarius:

Expressing your creative side is strongly advised. Take this opportunity to write, paint or play music. Relatives may not appreciate your work, but that doesn't matter. The important thing is to satisfy your own taste. People who are daring and experimental will appreciate your efforts. Don't be surprised if you're given a chance to showcase your work in a magazine, boutique or gallery. Fame and acclaim can be yours, so long as you're willing to follow your instincts.More
