Lea Michele grills Taylor Lautner over Taylor Swift song
Lea Michele wanted to get to the bottom of which song Taylor Swift wrote about a Taylor Lautner but he refused to open up.
Lea Michele and John Stamos have jokingly grilled their co-star Taylor Lautner to find out which song his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift wrote about him.
The Shake It Off singer is known for writing songs about her ex-boyfriends, including Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and the Twilight actor, who she dated briefly in 2009 after meeting on the set of romantic comedy Valentine's Day.
Many fans have speculated which of Swift's songs are about the actor, and Lea and John, who star alongside Taylor in U.S. horror comedy Scream Queens, tried to get the answer out of him during a Facebook Live question-and-answer session on Monday (08Aug16).
John brought up Taylor's dating history during the chat, saying, "He dated quite a few girls... There was a list. Right, Taylor?" and the 24-year-old blushed and added, "I mean...yeah, I've dated some people."
Lea realised he dated Swift and she teased the actor, who became uncomfortable and sarcastically called her hilarious, by cheekily asking, "Should we talk about it?" to which Taylor responds, "No! I don't know why you guys want to talk about it."
When Lea grills him, asking if the singer wrote a song about him, he coyly replies, "That's what she does. She writes songs" and Taylor tries to change the conversation when Lea poses a theory about his track being "the one about a sweater and a hat."
Taylor bursts into awkward laughter as Lea tries to work out the name of the song and, "Something about a hat! I don't know!" and when John chips in to ask if Swift made him a hat, Taylor said, "She did not make me a hat... I don't know where she's (Lea's) going with this hat thing."
She asks viewers for help before a further clue comes to her and she exclaims, "It's like your hat...in December!" and Taylor, realising which song she meant, put her out of her misery by saying, "It's called Back to December, the song" without confirming if it was actually about him.
Many fans have speculated the tune, which doesn’t mention a sweater or a hat as Lea thought, is about Taylor because it was released after their relationship.
