Lea 'recharging' over Christmas

Lea Michele has revealed she is taking some time to "recharge" over the festive season.

The Glee actress has had a tough year as a result of the loss of her co-star and real-life love Cory Monteith in July, and lately has been throwing herself into her work, including her music career.

But Lea confessed on Twitter that it is time for her to unwind.

She shared a picture of her feet up on a table in front of a roaring fire, saying: "After an amazing past few weeks it's time to put my feet up recharge, relax and breathe in some fresh air."

Lea, 27, recently revealed she is trying to "make something positive" of her life after Cory died from an accidental overdose in July, and that she is moving forwards with her life as he would have wanted.

She told US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "My mom has experienced a lot of loss in her life, and she told me, 'There is an empowerment that comes with grief. At some point you will find it's very hard, but you will find it,' and I think at a certain point you can choose to fall from this or you can rise.

"I'm just trying to do my best for him because I know that that's what he would have wanted and to just do my best and to, you know, hopefully make something positive for where I go in the rest of my life."
