Leave Jennifer Aniston out of Brangelina divorce talk, Courteney Cox says
Courteney Cox has said her friend and former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston should be left out of talk about Brad Pitt's divorce.
Speculation about how Aniston, 47, must be feeling has been rife since Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41, announced the end of their marriage.
Courteney, 52, told Entertainment Tonight: "I feel like we're exacerbating it by even talking about it. It's not about her."
Her comments come after Aniston's husband said it was "nonsense" his wife should be included in reports about the divorce.
Justin Theroux, who married Aniston last year, told Business Insider: "It's shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world."
Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, last week, citing irreconcilable differences.
She has asked for physical custody of the couple's six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The FBI has said it is considering an investigation into an alleged altercation between Pitt and one of his children on a private plane.
Several media outlets, using anonymous sources, reported the Ocean's Eleven star was under investigation by a child welfare agency after allegedly clashing with his adopted son Maddox.
Jolie and Pitt first met when they played married spies in the 2005 film Mr And Mrs Smith, when he was still married to Aniston.
