(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Leighton Meester has reportedly had her baby.

The Gossip Girl actress and her actor husband Adam Brody are said to have welcomed their first child into the world last week, according to Us Weekly.

Details of the baby’s gender, name or birth weight have yet to be revealed.

Adam and Leighton had never commented on the pregnancy reports. However, pictures of Leighton out and about in Los Angeles back in July showed her displaying a clear baby bump.

Leighton, 29, and Adam, 35, have both opened up in the past about their desire to have a family.

“Most people I know are starting to get married," she told Nylon magazine "It'll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I've got dogs."

And during a Reddit AMA in August, Adam said he was keen to have a big family.

When asked how many children he wants, Adam replied: “I say twelve. And I decide!"

Leighton began dating former The O.C star Adam after she ended her relationship with her Remember the Daze co-star Aaron Himelstein in late 2012. The couple got engaged a year later and married in a private ceremony in February 2014. The pair chose not to release a statement following the union, with Adam hastily confirming the news when approached in a car park by TooFab.com a few days later.

“It was a very small and intimate wedding with close family and friends," a source revealed to E! News at the time. "It was beautiful."

And it seems that marriage changed Leighton’s list of priorities.

“My values have shifted greatly in terms of what I find important," she revealed to InStyle U.K. "It's my family, my friends and having a personal life. Those are the things that need nurturing."
