Lena Dunham came up with the term "grunch" while napping.
The actress is known for her quirky personality and hit HBO series Girls.
When the busy star has some time for sleep, she finds herself subconsciously working on other things - like her own language.
"I napped at work and dreamed a new word: grunch. Grunch is a brunch where all the diners grow emotionally over the course of the meal. (sic)" the 26-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Earlier this week, Lena was honoured by Time magazine for being one of the top 100 influential people around.
The star made the cut along with other stars such as Jay-Z, Steven Spielberg and Jennifer Lawrence.
On her Twitter account, she also let fans in on who inspires her.
"The musical artist Miguel is working a very sensual angle (sic)" she posted.
She also shared a link to a video of singer Sara Bareilles speaking about her new single Brave.
"Inspiring me today: Brave (sic)" she wrote.
Fellow actress Claire Danes was the one to pen Lena's write-up in Time magazine.
The Homeland star listed all the reasons she finds Lena so fascinating.
"She is unflinchingly, unnervingly honest... Lena’s unique lack of vanity or shame allows us to consider that we may also be able to accept and express ourselves fully. This is not only impressive, it’s important," she gushed.
