Lena Dunham ignored acting advice

Lena Dunham is back with another series of Girls

Girls creator Lena Dunham has said she still bumps into an agent who told her - before she made her name with Girls - that she didn't cut it as an actress.

The 27-year-old writer, director and actress took on the leading role in her first feature film, Tiny Furniture, at the age of 23.

And she told how an agent advised her not to star in the movie about a college graduate, which she also wrote and directed.

"We were trying to sell Tiny Furniture and gave it to all these agents," Lena said.

"An agent called me and said, 'I've got to be honest with you. I love the movie but I really hate that lead actress, she annoys me so much and I don't know if I can get behind her.

"I think you're a really talented director, but we need to find another actress."

Lena said: "I was like, 'I'll try and see if we can arrange something!' It was crazy, and now I run into him sometimes. Hi Corey!"

The 27-year-old also revealed that fans constantly open up about their own personal experiences because they think it could be used in Sky Atlantic series Girls.

"We definitely get people who are like, 'You've got to hear my sex story, it's definitely something you can use'," she said.

"I want to put out a warning. If you want to tell me a sex story, that's one thing, but we probably won't use it."

Trust your intuition about a domestic matter. If you think it's time to get a new place, start looking for one. You could find a home that cultivates tranquillity and relaxation. Escaping the fray will be a relief. Although you enjoy socialising, you also crave private time. Being able to watch movies, read books and listen to music replenishes your batteries. A needy relative could request help. This would be a good time to establish some healthy boundaries. Stop dropping everything for this relative's benefit.More
