Levine’s most romantic moment
Adam Levine got his proposal just right in the eyes of his other half, Behati Prinsloo.
The Maroon 5 frontman wed Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo in a lavish Mexico ceremony in July, after becoming engaged one year earlier. But for the 25-year-old, the most romantic moment for her was when he popped the question.
“I think proposing,” Behati said when asked by Access Hollywood. "It was very simple, there was nothing crazy. It was the way that I wanted it. He called my dad. It was very nice."
While the engagement was perfect, the early days of their courtship were a lot more complex. The duo communicated via email for weeks before they were able to meet in person. Behati admits when they finally did see each other in real life, it was slightly uncomfortable.
"We kind of started talking over email, back and forth for months. I was kind of making fun of him. We talked over email for such a long time and then went to LA and we met for the first time," the Namibian model explained. "When we met finally, face to face, he was shooting the boxing music video, One More Night, I think it was, so he had gloves on. And I walked through the door and was like, 'What am I doing here?' And he had his gloves on and was like, 'This is awkward, hi!'”
Adam, 35, is no stranger to weddings this year. Over the weekend, he and his band crashed one in Los Angeles in order to get footage for their new music video.
The newlyweds in question reportedly had no idea about the surprise appearance, but having Maroon 5 perform made their day special.
"It was an incredible surprise and everyone at the wedding is going to cherish those memories," Duke Photography has revealed to E! News after capturing the event. "They crashed the wedding and were filming their new music video during the performance. We can't say much more, but that it was a great experience."
