Liam Hemsworth reportedly put on a hot and heavy PDA display with Maika Monroe over the Independence Day weekend.

The 25-year-old is currently starring alongside the 22-year-old in Independence Day: Resurgence. And it seems the pair are getting on just as famously off-set as they are on screen.

“His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “Liam was draped all over her. It was so PDA and in-your-face!”

The couple attended a July 4 fete thrown by director Roland Emmerich. But despite their amorous display, the actors aren’t reportedly willing to label their relationship just yet.

“They’re not official,” a source close to the It Follows actress added. “But their chemistry is ridiculous!”

Liam and Maika were also spotted grabbing refreshments in Malibu together on July 7.

The Australian hunk was famously engaged to singer Miley Cyrus for a year before they ended their four year relationship in September 2013. While Liam hasn’t been closely linked to anyone since, the Wrecking Ball singer has gone on to date Patrick Schwarzenegger before more recently revealing her bisexuality and hooking up with model Stella Maxwell.

“I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age,” she told Paper magazine in June. “Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me.”

Independence Day: Resurgence is due for release in June 2016.
