Liam Hemsworth: 'I don't owe anyone a show and tell'
Liam Hemsworth doesn't go out of his way to attract attention.
Actor Liam Hemsworth won't talk about his rekindled romance with singer Miley Cyrus as he doesn't "owe anyone a show and tell".
The Hunger Games hunk reunited with his 23-year-old ex-fiancee over the Christmas holidays (15), after the couple was spotted spending time together in his native Australia, and it has been claimed its engagement is back on.
But in a new interview with Britain's Sunday Times Style magazine, Liam insists he won't let the media storm around his personal life interfere with his romance or his acting career.
"I don’t go out of my way to attract that kind of attention, or feel I owe anyone a show and tell," he said. "You can be consumed by 'Oh, someone wrote something about me', but you have to remember it’s 10 seconds out of someone’s day, if that. That makes it easier. I don’t buy into it anymore, and live my life happily. It’s way less complicated."
The 26-year-old originally began dating Miley after meeting on the set of 2009 movie The Last Song, becoming engaged in June 2012 before splitting in September 2013.
Liam recently opened up about their break up during an interview with GQ magazine, telling the publication: "Of course it was hard, man. But at the time we were going in different directions and it's just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time - we both needed that."
However the Independence Day: Resurgence star remained tight-lipped about their current status, simply adding: "People will figure it out, they already have...They're not dumb."
