Liam Hemsworth admits that he "was not cool" at all in his youth.
The 22-year-old Australian actor looks to his fiancée Miley Cyrus for suggestions on what to wear.
Liam wasn't stylish in the slightest during his teenage years and appreciates his love's good taste.
"I used to have an afro, like Will Ferrell in Semi-Pro," he laughed in an interview in the September issue of Men's Health magazine.
"It was bleached blond from the sun. I was tall and awkward. I was not cool."
Athletic Liam tends to sport casual garb as much as possible. Miley prefers to see her beau donned in more sophisticated threads.
"All women think men look good in suits," Liam said.
"To be honest, I like the way they look too."
The couple met while making the 2010 movie The Last Song and recently confirmed their engagement.
Liam is currently filming new movie Paranoia in Philadelphia.
