Liam Hemsworth has been making the most of his time away from fiancée Miley Cyrus.
The Hunger Games star is currently filming cop drama Empire State in New Orleans and recently took some time out to greet local fans.
The Australian heartthrob thrilled local college students who posed for pictures with the hunky star.
"He was super nice!" one of his admirers told E! News. "Me and four other fans were there, so it wasn't crowded. We didn't ask for autographs or say anything about Miley or the engagement since we were star struck and also wanted to be normal and keep our cool."
Meanwhile, Liam's lady love has been partying up a storm with her pals back in Los Angeles.
The 19-year-old was at Hollywood hotspot Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt with several girlfriends over the weekend.
"Miley spent most of the night dancing," an onlooker told People. "She was chatty and was in a great mood. At around 12.15am, she pulled her girlfriend into the photo booth to take pictures together."
