Liberty Ross: I'll always love Rupert

Liberty Ross insists she has nothing but "love and respect" for her ex-husband Rupert Sanders.

The 35-year-old actress' divorce from the director, 43, was finalised last month after he was photographed kissing 24-year-old Kristen Stewart in July 2012, whom he directed in Snow White and the Huntsman. Liberty also starred in the movie, playing Kristen's onscreen mother.

Despite the life-changing incident, Liberty insists her ex-husband will always remain a big part of her life. This is also for the sake of their kids: daughter Skyla and son Tennyson.

"Rupert was very much a part of my family, and still is - he was like another sibling. We'll always have this amazing love for each other. I spent 17 years of my life with him," Liberty explained to the latest edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine. "I have nothing but love and respect and compassion for him. He'll always be my family, you know. We live close to each other, we continue to raise our children absolutely together - it's really good."

The brunette beauty seems to have moved on from the incident two years ago, insisting she doesn't feel resentful of Rupert's betrayal. The affair also ended Kristen's relationship with long-term boyfriend Robert Pattinson, whom she reconciled with briefly after cheating on him. They have now split for good.

"God, no. Ugh. People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved. I'm completely compassionate, I really am," she added when asked if she feels bitter towards Rupert. "No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it's good to be true to who you are.

"I think we can grow from all experiences, even the most tragic, sh*tty ones where you think you're to die. Actually, you know, there are ways of growing with them and learning from them and moving past them and accepting them."

Liberty has reportedly gained the family house, two other homes in London, $14,000 a month in child support and $25,000 a month in spousal support for the next four years from the divorce. She is also believed to have entitlement to 15 per cent of the profits that Rupert makes from his movies.
