Lil Wayne's happiest memories involve his children.
The 30-year-old rapper is father to four kids.
Wayne deeply cherishes his role as a parent.
"There's nothing better than that, period - being a father," he told MTV News.
"I've done so many things... I don't get no joy like the joy I get being a father. Simple things like helping my daughter with her homework. Simple things like putting my sons to sleep."
Most recently Wayne worked with youth mentoring organisation Stoked helping children produce a commercial.
Although the rapper volunteers his time and donates money to multiple charities, he'd rather keep his philanthropic work under wraps.
"To be totally honest with you, that's Cortez [my manager telling people about my charitable work]," Wayne said.
"If it was left up to me, then y'all still wouldn't know what I'm doin'. They put all that together, everything, those kids.
"It's not only an image, its reality."
