LiLo ‘considering Millionaire Matchmaker’
Lindsay Lohan “expressed interest” in trying to find love on TV dating show Millionaire Matchmaker, it has been claimed.
The 28-year-old actress has had a notoriously turbulent love life. And now Lindsay is said to be keen to employ the skills of dating expert Patti Stanger in a bid to find her soulmate.
According to sources, Lindsay was keen to sign up to appear on the hit dating television series, but was prevented from doing so due to filming commitments in London.
However, Lindsay hasn’t ruled out a future appearance on the show in the future.
And in the meantime, Lindsay’s mother Dina will be seen trying to find love as part of a series of celebrity specials of the show.
Insiders revealed that Lindsay recommended her mother for the gig after she was unable to take part in the programme herself.
“Lindsay was Patti’s first choice,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Patti really wanted to have Lindsay come on the show in an attempt to find her true love. Would Lindsay want to be set up with a man or a woman, or have a meet and greet with both? It would have been great television!”
“Unfortunately Lindsay was busy working in London during the filming of Millionaire Matchmaker, but expressed interest in doing it in the future. She also suggested her mom, Dina, for the show. Of course Dina agreed.”
However, while Dina’s fate on the show has yet to be revealed, the filming is said to have gone anything but smoothly.
According to Radar, Dina stopped production of the reality show for a whole day after raising a series of complaints.
“On Dina’s first day of shooting, she showed up very, very late and proceeded to complain about wardrobe, hair and make-up,” an insider told Radar earlier this month. “Once filming began, hours later, during the one-on-one with Patti, Dina just completely lost it, accusing the show of being fake, and doubting whether she could find true love.”
Lindsay revealed earlier this week that she is suffering from chikungunya, a virus contracted by mosquitoes that causes a sudden onset of fever, after contracting the condition while on holiday in the South Pacific.
