LiLo ‘feels genetically doomed’

Lindsay Lohan is worried about her future because of her family’s bad issues.

The 27-year-old recently underwent a 90 court-ordered stint in rehab and believes the desire to destroy herself is in her genes.

The former child star has had several run-ins with the law due to her addictions and underwent treatment many times before.

“Lindsay now thinks that she’s genetically doomed to self-destruct,” a source told America’s OK! magazine.

The report comes days after the Mean Girls actress’ mother Dina Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence on September 12, according to TMZ.

Dina was reportedly caught speeding at 77 mph in a 55 mph zone when she was pulled over in New York.

Officers are said to have conducted a blood alcohol test, which determined she was over twice the legal limit.

The judge suspended Dina's license and denied her bail after the incident despite her lawyer arguing the mother-of-four has no criminal record and is a loyal Long Island resident.

Lindsay attended Dina’s 51st birthday shortly after mother’s arrest, where the family is said to have enjoyed a booze-free meal in an effort to rid them of their demons.

The matriarch is currently writing a memoir about the family’s “shattered dreams, incredible disappointments and comebacks”, scheduled for release this winter.

Speaking out about his troubled daughter, Michael Lohan admitted he feels responsible for her issues and believes his split from the star’s mom in 2007 had a dramatic effect on her behaviour.

"I think because of [mine and Dina's] divorce and what happened, Lindsay was put in a horrible position," he previously told TMZ.
