LiLo has 'cut' bad friends

Lindsay Lohan's father says she has "cut" out "bad" friends to focus on her new film.

The actress has had a troubled past and spent 90 days in court-ordered rehab last year, before leaving the Cliffside Malibu centre at the end of July.

Since then she's been working hard on a fresh beginning and has been mentored by talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

Lindsay is set to star in and co-produce thriller Inconceivable and her father Michael Lohan claims it's helping the 27-year-old stay on the right track.

“She has Randall Emmett, who produced Lone Survivor and Broken City, helping her,” he told New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column. “She’s cut the bad friends out of her life and is taking this seriously.”

The feature is set to start filming in March and it's thought Lindsay is hoping it could kickstart her Hollywood career again.

She's also just finished her eight-part series for Oprah's OWN network, which will begin showing on March 9.

Apparently Oprah might even be interested in reshooting Lindsay on the Inconceivable set to show her hard at work.

Lindsay yesterday joined the likes of Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey and Sarah Jessica Parker on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, who took over from Jay Leno this week.

The actress strolled on as a surprise appearance for the new host.

“I can’t believe this is happening. I want to say thanks to all the fans for all of their support," Jimmy gushed on the show.

Kim, 33, took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes fun from the night, including a snap of her standing next to Lindsay and a selection of other A-list guests.

"Mike Tyson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Gaga, Lindsay Lohan backstage at Jimmy Fallon tonight! (sic)," she captioned the shot.
