LiLo ‘heading back to New York’
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly considering moving in with her sister in New York City.
The actress is currently performing in Speed-the-Plow at London’s Playhouse Theatre.
But with her final bow schedule for November 29, new reports suggest her previous rumoured plans to remain in the city may not come to fruition.
Lindsay’s mother, Dina, and sister, Ali, were apartment hunting recently in downtown Manhattan, a source tells the New York Post.
According to the insider, the women eyed a $2.2 million residence at the W Downtown in the city’s Financial District for Lindsay and her younger sister.
A spokesperson for the actress had not immediately commented on the claims.
The 28-year-old star is meanwhile rumoured to have moved into an apartment in Mayfair for her ten-week run, which she hopes will reset her career following years of run-ins with the law and reports that have marred her reputation.
“I want to be known for my talents and my work that I create, rather than a tabloid sensation," she previously told the BBC. “However long it does take, I'm willing to do it. I'm willing to work for it."
Earlier reports suggested Lindsay had entertained staying in London indefinitely, as she feels like less of a target in the UK.
“Lindsay’s convinced everyone in America is out to get her, but she’s had the opposite experience in London,” a source told RadarOnline back in June.
“She loves British culture and says people have treated her with respect for the first time in years. Now she’s looking into the immigration process and planning a full-time relocation.”
An insider previously told British magazine Heat the only thing stopping the star from making a permanent move may be her finances.
"Lindsay's been telling everyone she wants to rent in London, but she's lacking the funds,” the source said.
