LiLo 'loves London living'
Lindsay Lohan has apparently been "accepted" by London, and has left her wild ways behind her.
The 27-year-old actress spent time in rehab last year but is now freeing herself from addiction and spending a lot of time in London.
Apparently the British city is more than just a fun place to hang out and Lindsay has come to see it as a safe haven.
"Lindsay feels more accepted in the UK. She loves being away from the drama of her LA life - it holds a lot of demons for her," a source explained to British magazine Star.
"Lindsay has been out enjoying herself, but that's not why she wants to stay. She's had a lot of TV and modelling offers since being here. Everyone hopes it will be the making of her comeback."
It was recently announced that Lindsay will make her West End debut in a production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow. The flame haired star will tread the boards from September, signing up for eight shows a week at London’s Playhouse Theatre.
Last year, Lindsay was court ordered to spend 90 days in rehab, which she served between May and July.
She's now making an effort to clean up her act, although it was recently rumoured she showed some erratic behaviour. According to sources, the Mean Girls star was spotted streaking in London store Selfridges.
Luckily Lindsay has made some sensible friends in the UK, such as English reality TV star Tom Kilbey. He's sober, so can help keep her on the straight and narrow.
"I'm up for anything with her, because I don't drink either," he explained to the publication.
"I'm very clean-living, which is good for her. We'll have some friends round, chill and watch a film. She's had a lot of fake friends, so she's definitely careful who she can trust now."
Tom and Lindsay met in LA five years ago, through mutual friend Alex Pettyfer.
