LiLo ‘partaking in Super Bowl festivities’
It’s claimed Lindsay Lohan will be partying at the Super Bowl ahead of her February court date, which could potentially result in a jail sentence.
The 28-year-old actress contracted untreatable virus Chikungunya recently and it’s claimed her court-ordered community service hours related to probation from a 2012 reckless driving case is being questioned by prosecutors.
But apparently Lindsay isn’t concerned over health and legal woes, instead choosing to focus on having fun at Super Bowl XLIX.
“Lindsay is headed to Phoenix, Arizona to partake in the Super Bowl festivities this coming Sunday,” a source told Radar Online.
Although TMZ reported Lindsay has completed all of her 240 community service hours, it’s been claimed prosecutors aren’t convinced this took place to their satisfaction. Apparently they are angry 18 of those logged hours are attributed to signing autographs for fans at meet-and-greets. Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White, who is part of the prosecution team, has supposedly requested the actress’ medical records to validate alleged discrepancies. It’s claimed the dates she was in a London hospital being treated for Chikungunya are also listed as days in which she fulfilled community service hours.
However, Lindsay is said to be taking the controversy in stride.
“Lindsay is actually quite annoyed that they are even saying that this type of work was not community service,” the source said. “She firmly believes that entertaining people and making them happy is definitely being of service to the community.”
A hearing meant to analyse Lindsay’s community service completion is set for February 18. And should the judge find she did not in fact complete her court-ordered hours, Lindsay could be sentenced to jail.
