Lindsay Lohan is said to want E. L. James' help in penning an autobiography.
The 28-year-old actress has made headlines over the last year for numerous reasons, including her stint in rehab and alleged leaked list of sexual partners. Stars including James Franco and Justin Timberlake appeared on the infamous note, but many of her reported conquests have stepped forward to deny their involvement since it was leaked.
Now, to get her side across, Lindsay is said to have started plans on penning her life story. She is also reportedly keen to hire the help of Fifty Shades of Grey writer E. L. James for the venture. They are said to have met at Lindsay's favourite London hotspot while she stays in the city ahead of her appearance on the West End stage later this year.
“Lindsay held meetings at major publishing houses in London recently - and the stories she promised the literary agents made their jaws drop.
“She’s prepared to put everything out there and has already proved she’s not shy with the list of men she claims to have slept with," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
“Lindsay is now looking for a ghost writer. It may seem unlikely, but she thinks she’s in with a shot of getting E. L. James to work on it - they met recently at the Chiltern Firehouse and got on well."
If erotic wordsmith E. L. doesn't want to get involved, Lindsay is said to have her eye on another author - the woman behind Harry Potter.
“Another pie in the sky idea was that she might persuade J.K. Rowling to work with her," the insider added.
The flame-haired star is said to be doing better than ever after completing her court-ordered stay in a treatment facility in July 2013. She's said to be determined to show others her career can get back on track.
"She's finally turning her life around," an insider recently British magazine Heat. "Linds says she's going to prove herself as the star of this play. It's a way to show everyone that she's ready to work again - and actually be good."
