LiLo’s mother ‘gets break in DWI case’

Dina Lohan’s drink driving case continues.

Lindsay Lohan’s embattled 50-year-old mother is facing a charge of driving while intoxicated stemming from her September 12 arrest on Long Island’s Northern State Parkway.

According to Radar Online, the stage mom was seen exiting a Rolls-Royce at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday before entering court.

Dina is apparently being represented by her daughter’s former lawyer, Mark Heller. The actress famously fired Mark after he fumbled her criminal case stemming from a 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, California, reports suggested at the time.

And Dina’s ex-husband, Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan, is convinced Mark will botch her case too.

“The way she represents herself to the public and the court is one thing but it’s even worse that she has Mark Heller,” he told Radar.

“With the way he handles the case it is only going to make things worse for Dina.”

Dina pleaded not guilty in September to driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Officers are said to have tested her blood alcohol level, which registered at .20 - more than double the legal limit of .08.

TMZ reported in November the judge was waiting for a psychiatric evaluation to be submitted before he imposed a sentence.

Mark Heller that same month blamed Dina’s arrest largely on the circumstances surrounding her famous daughter, and insisted his client was focused on remaining sober.

"The circumstances leading to Dina's arrest were largely impacted by ongoing daily stresses caused by you folks, the paparazzi, media attention and distorted tabloid character profiles,” Mark told the court while reading a report from an evaluator, according to ABC News.

Lindsay is meanwhile in the midst of staging another comeback following her completion of a court-ordered rehab stint last year.

The 27-year-old star is preparing for the premiere of her post-rehab docu-series on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network later this month.

Lindsay is also set to star in and co-produce forthcoming thriller Inconceivable.
