Lindsay explains new tattoo
Lindsay Lohan shares the inspiration for her new tattoo.
The actress got the fresh ink over the weekend and tweeted a link to the finished work on her website.
"Ok here's the final product, from me to you - xL," she posted.
The picture reveals a tattoo in the shape of a small red triangle with a red line through it, placed just above the elbow on her inner left arm.
Lindsay showed inspiration for the art by posting a diagram of a triangle underneath the photo of her tattoo.
The image included the words "truth", "power" and "love" at each corner of the triangle, and "intelligence" at its centre.
The words "authority", "courage" and "oneness" are also on the outside of the shape.
Lindsay posted a black-and-white picture of herself getting the tattoo on Sunday, captioning the image: "@seanpenncils #HomeWork #behindthescenes."
The 27-year-old star already has a triangle on her right arm with the words "what dreams may come" written underneath.
She also has two Marilyn Monroe quote tattoos. One reads: "Stars, all we ask for is our right to twinkle," and the other: "I restore myself when I'm alone."
Lindsay is currently filming an upcoming reality show for Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, focusing on her comeback and recovery in the wake of her court-ordered rehab stint last summer.
The Mean Girls star's parents Michael and Dina Lohan have been banned from filming, according to TMZ.
