Lindsay Lohan has allegedly been assaulted in her Manhattan hotel room.
According to police, the actress was attacked at the W Hotel in the early hours of this morning.
NBC 4 News reports Lindsay got into an argument with a 25-year-old man she met at a nightclub called 1 Oak.
She brought the man - identified as Christian LaBella - back to her hotel room, where some of her friends were also present.
It is reported the pair began arguing after Lindsay, 26, discovered the man had taken photographs of her on his cell phone.
"Lohan told detectives that at around 4:30 a.m. she saw photos of her on LaBella's phone, confronted him about them and took his phone. LaBella then threw her on the bed causing scratches on her hands, police sources said," reports the site.
The actress claims the man later choked her and threw her to the floor. He climbed onto her, with one of the star's friends managing to pull him off.
Lindsay raised the alarm and police apprehend the suspect before he left the hotel. He has been charged with assault and harassment.
The actress did not go to hospital.
