Lindsay Lohan lands another TV gig

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan will host a popular late night show next week after she exits rehab.

The 27-year-old actress, who is currently in a court-ordered rehab programme, will take over for host Chelsea Handler on Monday night, according to Deadline.

The guest roster for that evening has not yet been released.

E! network claims it will be an "all-star" event.

Lindsay and Chelsea have worked together in the past.

The women previously featured in a skit for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards when comedienne Chelsea was serving as Master of Ceremonies.

Lindsay follows in the footsteps of Dave Grohl and the Kardashians with the gig.

The actress is reportedly due to exit rehab on July 31.

The Chelsea Lately show is the third major television job she's landed in recent months.

Lindsay recently agreed to do an interview with Oprah Winfrey for a documentary to air on the media mogul's OWN network later in August.

She also guest-starred in Charlie Sheen's US sitcom Anger Management before entering treatment.

Lindsay is currently checked into Cliffside Malibu rehabilitation centre after being court-ordered to receive 90 days treatment.

The star struck a deal with prosecutors to complete the stint after she pled no contest to reckless driving and lying to police investigating her June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, California.

The star's new indie movie, Paul Schrader-directed drama The Canyons, meanwhile hits theatres in the US on Friday.

Aries:

You will have to defer to others, which makes you anxious. There's never any problem when you're in control. You know how to act quickly and decisively. When others are at the helm, progress grinds to a halt. People deliberate endlessly over simple matters. Instead of putting pressure on the person in charge, make a strategic retreat. If you act like you don't care about the outcome of a situation, they won't be paralysed with uncertainty. You have a tendency to make people nervous.More
