Lindsay Lohan praised by Rivers

Lindsay Lohan is one of the most talented people of her age, claims Joan Rivers.

The American comedian is known for being rude about celebrities and regularly criticises their style choices on her TV show Fashion Police.

Lindsay is attempting to get her career back on track after several brushes with the law and stints in rehab and Joan hopes she succeeds.

"You look at what Lindsay came from - her mother and father are crazy! It's a shame about her, because now in real life her skin just looks so bad. To me it's a drinker's skin. Druggy skin. But she's talented - she's like Marilyn Monroe," Joan told Heat magazine. "Out of all that group [Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Nicole Richie] she was hanging out with, she was one of the most talented."

Joan also had some comments to make about Justin Bieber. Although she isn't a huge fan of the teen star, she is also careful about criticising him.

"If you dare say anything about Bieber, you have 15 million teens who follow him on Twitter after you!" she laughed. "Those fans let you have it."
