Lindsay Lohan reportedly asked a film crew to strip to their underwear as she was so nervous filming a sex scene.
The actress stars in controversial movie The Canyons alongside porn star James Deen, and came over all shy when it came to shooting some of the steamy content in the movie. According to reports, Lindsay was able to overcome her blushes by requesting the crew join her in their underwear so she didn't feel so uncomfortable.
"The scene required Lindsay to go topless, but she was so uncomfortable with the idea of baring her bosom in front of the set's ten-man crew, she asked them to strip down with her ... to their boxers," TMZ reports a source told them.
It is unusual for Lindsay to display such a coy manner as the 27-year-old has previously seemed comfortable displaying her body, appearing nude in a Playboy magazine photo shoot.
The report says that it was the ten-man film crew who struggled with whether or not to reveal their modesty alongside the female lead, eventually giving in to Lindsay's request.
"The crew was hesitant at first, but they eventually obliged, stripping down and shooting the entire scene in their skivvies ... and it all went off without a hitch," the site added.
Lindsay was cast in The Canyons in June, which self-describes itself as a contemporary L.A. Noir movie.
"It focuses on the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally, among a group of young people in their 20s," says a report on the Huffington Post. "And how one chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and, ultimately, violence."
