Lindsay Lohan 'to move rehab again'
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly gearing up to move from Cliffside Malibu rehab centre to a facility on the East Coast.
The actress was court-ordered to 90 days of treatment when she made a deal with prosecutors earlier this year.
Lindsay pled no contest to reckless driving and lying to police investigating her June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, California, and entered the Betty Ford Center last month.
Last week it was reported she would be moving to Cliffside Malibu clinic and now it seems she is gearing up to leave the institution for a facility on the East Coast.
According to New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column, the 26-year-old is transferring to Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach early next month.
Seafield focuses largely on alcohol and substance abuse and a California judge is said to have approved the star's bid to leave Cliffside.
“The staff is getting ready for her,” an insider told the website.
“They have a bed and everything ready and know her room and what she’ll be doing.”
While a possible move to Seafield has reportedly been approved, Lindsay is also said to be interested in luxury Lukens Institute in Palm Beach.
If Lukens is approved, it's possible the starlet will move there instead.
“Seafield is like a motel and Lukens is a gorgeous place,” the source continued.
Lindsay apparently moved from Betty Ford to Cliffside after a visitor of a fellow patient brought a prohibited substance to the premises.
Amid fears of a relapse, the troubled actress apparently moved clinics, and her father, Michael, says she is already showing signs of improvement.
“Cliffside is better for her than Betty,” he said.
“She has more freedom, it’s more personalised, and the treatment is better for her. You can never tell if it’s going to stick or not until she gets out of rehab, but she’s doing great. She sounds fantastic."
Michael added that Lindsay called him on Father's Day last Sunday and sounded "great".
