(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Liv Tyler is reportedly engaged.

The 38-year-old actress and boyfriend Dave Gardner welcomed their son Sailor Gene into the world in February.

And after Liv was seen out and about wearing a jewel on her ring finger, sources have revealed that the couple are set to wed.

"They have been engaged since last Christmas but prefer to be private," a source told Us Weekly. “She's been wearing the ring."

Both Liv and Dave have been married before. Liv has a ten-year-old son Milo with ex Royston Langdon while Dave has a seven-year-old son Grey with his ex-wife Davinia Taylor.

Liv and Dave have been inseparable since starting a relationship early last year after being introduced by friends.

"They've actually been dating for three months. Everyone thinks Kate Moss introduced them, but it was originally Stella McCartney," an insider told British magazine Grazia.

"Dave and Liv have known each other for ages, but they've always had partners. Then, when they both became single at the same time, they sort of clicked. Dave's been spending time in LA recently so means he can see more of Liv. They both seem really happy and he's telling everyone he's in love."

Since welcoming Sailor, Liv has been keeping fans updated with her baby boy’s progress on Instagram.

In one of the first shots of her son, in which he was wearing a cute sailor-style romper, Liv wrote: “Our beautiful baby boy Sailor Gene Gardner 6 months old so so sooooo in love and grateful@davidgardner (sic).”
