Liz Hurley reports lost car stolen
Elizabeth Hurley's 'stolen' car has reportedly been found - after she forgot where she parked it.
The socialite apparently reported her £75,000 black Audi saloon stolen to police last week, after parking it on a busy street in London's Mayfair and then thinking it had disappeared when she went back for it.
But The Sun found the car parked in the exact place Liz was photographed leaving it around lunchtime on Thursday, with four days of parking tickets on it - totalling £240 in fines.
Shop staff working on the street lined with fashion boutiques, galleries and restaurants told the newspaper they remembered the actress and clothing designer parking it there.
One said: "She arrived at lunchtime and began walking one way down the road, then turned around and went the other. She comes here quite a lot but looked a bit lost and disoriented.
"You can only park there for four hours but she never returned for it. We saw the car on Friday and had bets on whether it would still be there Monday morning."
Liz returned to London last week after visiting her fiance, cricketer Shane Warne, in Australia.
Her spokesman thanked The Sun for finding he car, but added: "We don't comment on personal issues."
