Lohan has dinner at the White House
Lindsay Lohan was among the stars who attended the annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner at the weekend.
The actress put her troubles behind her to rub shoulders with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle at the event - known as the "nerd prom" - which honours journalists and features celebrity guests, who this year included Kim Kardashian, George Clooney, Daniel Radcliffe, Claire Danes and Uggie the dog from Oscar-winning film The Artist.
Obama introduced comedy host Jimmy Kimmel, and took the opportunity to poke fun at himself and his switched-on mic gaffe with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The president was heard off stage saying: "What am I doing here. I'm opening for Jimmy Kimmel and telling knock-knock jokes to Kim Kardashian."
Kim was pictured chatting to Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, possibly getting tips on acting in a sitcom, which she is rumoured to have her sights set on.
Expectant mothers Reese Witherspoon and Anna Paquin both debuted their baby bumps on the red carpet and George Clooney was spotted playing waiter as he filled up glasses for the other guests sitting at his table.
