Lorraine: I'd get animated again

Lorraine Kelly makes a cameo on Phineas And Ferb

Lorraine Kelly has revealed she would like to do more cartoon work.

The daytime chat queen voices the role of a judge in Disney show Phineas And Ferb, and admitted the experience has given her a taste of doing more.

"That would be amazing. I'd be well up for that, it would be fantastic," she said.

"What's great about doing animation is that obviously you get into character but you can wear your comfy slippers if you want and don't have to worry about wearing make-up - just be casual."

Lorraine said her cameo on Phineas And Ferb, which sees her following in the star-studded footsteps of David Beckham, Simon Pegg, Jonathan Ross and Lenny Henry, was "amazing".

"It was really good fun. This was a chance to do something totally different and get into character. I liked the vibe and cleverness. Cartoons you can do so much with that you can't do with film even with CGI, you can do so much more. It's just your imagination that's the thing that is limiting you," she said.

The mother-of-one continued: "I love the cartoon. It's clever and sharp, but at the same if you are five years old it's still entertaining for you."

Lorraine's appearance on Phineas And Ferb premieres on March 7 on Disney XD UK.
