Louis: I'll spice show up for Craig

Louis Smith isn't sure what he can do to impress Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood

Louis Smith has joked that he may have to get saucier on Strictly Come Dancing to win over judge Craig Revel Horwood.

The gymnast failed to impress the icy judge with his Charleston last weekend - despite getting high praise from the rest of the panel on the BBC One show.

Asked on spin-off show It Takes Two how he could impress Craig, he said: "I don't know, he didn't tell us what I did wrong. Maybe I need to undo my top button... I don't know."

Louis confessed he hadn't been expecting such rave reviews from the other judges for his performance with dance pro Flavia Cacace.

"It was good, it was very different but I really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting the comments at all," he admitted.

"I think it was because I felt I was acting and I thought, 'I'm not going to get great scores for this.' It felt like I was going really overboard."

Louis will be back this weekend for a "dance fusion" routine which mixes Rumba and Tango, as the remaining contestants fight it out for the coveted four places in the final.

If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
