Louis Smith sorry for Strictly slip

Louis Smith has apologised about letting slip the Strictly result too early

Louis Smith has apologised for spilling the beans about Sid Owen being axed from Strictly Come Dancing before the show went out on TV.

The gymnast accidentally gave away the result of the Strictly elimination on Saturday night when he fired off an online message offering his commiserations to ousted EastEnders star Sid.

He told The Sun: "I couldn't believe I accidentally gave the game away about the result.

"The fans have been amazing to me and the last thing I'd want to do is ruin the surprise.

"It was such an emotional night and we were all exhausted. I just completely forgot for a second when I was tweeting but realised straight away and deleted it.

"I'm so sorry if I spoilt it for anyone, I won't be doing it again, that's for sure."

Louis topped the leader board on Saturday night after his performance, with partner Flavia Cacace, to Rihanna's Disturbia.

He said that he will be dancing the samba on this weekend's show, adding: "Latin is very hard to get great scores for, so I'm really trying to work on the hip action."

Gemini:

A stubborn attitude will cause problems in your work life. You have to be more accommodating to your colleagues. Their tastes may not be as refined as yours, but so what? You'll be able to live with the results without too much strain. There may not be enough money in the budget to give you a raise. Resist the urge to issue an ultimatum. In this economy, you can feel grateful for having a steady job. A better opportunity will come along, so long as you stay patient.More
