Love Hewitt: I love pushing the envelope

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt loves pushing the boundaries of what’s acceptable to broadcast on television with her sexy show The Client List.

Jennifer plays masseuse Riley Parks on the provocative Lifetime TV series.

Her character and other staff at the fictional day spa perform erotic massages on clients.

The candid 33-year-old star admits she’s often left snickering on set.

The raunchy storylines makes work a little more interesting.

“It gives us funny things to talk about,” she told America’s OK! magazine, adding, “There are a lot of jokes on set. It’s good. It’s all in good fun and we love pushing the envelope for the audience.”

I Know What You Did Last Summer star Jennifer began filming the series last year and it’s already been picked up for a second season.

Jennifer said fans can expect some new twists.

“There’s a love triangle. A male masseuse working at the spa to give women happy endings,” she revealed.

And much to her delight, this season will be pushing boundaries more than ever.

“Oh, and everybody’s sleeping together at the spa!” she mused. “I can’t believe I almost left that part out.”

Jennifer will also be showing off more of her singing skills.

The actress starred in a promo released earlier this year which showed her bumping and grinding to Peggy Lee’s I’m a Woman.

Jennifer anticipates she’ll be flexing her vocal chords more often.

“We’re singing more this season as well and you’ll find out that Riley’s dream before she became a mother and a wife was to become a singer,” she explained.

Season two of The Client List is scheduled to premiere later this year.
