Love Island's Camilla and Jonny spark split rumours after feminism row

The bomb disposal expert, who is worlds away from her fellow islanders with her traditional ideology, had delighted viewers by appearing to fall head over heels with new boy Jonny.

Love Island favourites Camilla Thurlow and Jonny Mitchell's romance has hit the rocks after a heated row about feminism.

The bomb disposal expert, who is worlds away from her fellow islanders with her traditional ideology, had delighted viewers by appearing to fall head over heels with new boy Jonny.

But after they clashed on Tuesday night's (13Jun17) episode over their differences in beliefs, Camilla wondered whether she would be able to look past their contrasting opinions.

Things kicked off when Camilla asked Jonny whether he would pay for a girl on a date, to which he answered: "Yeah, I'd pay. With my ex for five years, I don't remember her paying for a thing. She did offer, but in the end she just stopped offering."

Clearly taken aback, Camilla replied: "Oh gosh, but surely at the beginning it's better to go halves because you don't know how it's going to pan out?"

After the conversation progressed to talk about gender politics and Prime Minister Theresa May, where her and Jonny's differences in opinion were even more obvious, Camilla made her way to the Beach Hut to rant about the argument.

"We just got onto a subject that probably wasn't the right thing to be discussing under these circumstances, and we have incredibly different views," she mused. "I'm so stupid, this is actually what I didn't want to do - start liking someone before I got to know them. Because this is what happens when you move too quickly, then you find something out and then you just know this could never go anywhere.

"Anyone who is at this time in life discussing feminism in that way, it really puts me off."

After attempting to compose herself, Camilla headed to the dressing room where she was approached by Marcel and Amber after they noticed something was wrong.

The next day, Jonny overheard Camilla talking to Chloe about their argument and condemning him, and then rejected his former love's apology.

Explaining his move in the Beach Hut, Jonny said: "She gets upset when people b**ch and she’s b**ching about me to the girls.

'She’s there on her high horse all day with her false moral high ground judging everyone for b**ching and she’s in the next room, b**ching about me. It’s the one thing I didn’t expect of her."

The status of the pair's relationship has yet to be confirmed, but viewers have begun speculating that they have split, meaning it's likely that Camilla may go home at the next recoupling.
