Courtney Love claims Gavin Rossdale is the mastermind behind Gwen Stefani's career.
The Hole frontwoman has claimed in the past she had a romance with the Bush rocker before he started dating wife Gwen in 1995.
Courtney reiterated allegations of their romance in a candid interview with ABC News published on Friday. She also used the opportunity to take a swipe at the No Doubt singer.
"Funny thing, you know, I would've never really bet on Gwen. Not back in the day," she said.
Courtney also mused on Gwen's "f**king empire".
She claimed the singer's clothing line, L.A.M.B is run by Gavin, who has taken the reigns of his wife's career since Bush's popularity faded in the Nineties.
"His band never did that well but he is very, very smart," Courtney continued, adding, "He runs the Gwen show, that's him. He runs the clothing line, he f**king built that up, he has nothing else to do."
Gwen and Gavin have been married since 2002. The couple have two sons, six-year-old Kingston and four-year-old Zuma.
Courtney still fantasizes about what life would be like if her alleged relationship with the rocker would have worked out.
"He was so good looking," she said. "But I kind of envisioned that me and Gavin Rossdale would end up on the French Riviera, like, taking tennis lessons and f**king our respective polo teachers."
Neither Gavin nor Gwen have commented on the allegations.
