The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright has vowed never to reunite with her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent following the pair's split earlier this year.

Lydia Bright is a "much stronger person" following her split from James 'Arg' Argent.

The Only Way Is Essex stars have been in an on-off relationship since the reality series began in 2010.

However, their romance came to an end once again earlier this year (16), and Lydia insists that she won't ever go back to her ex.

"For me there is no going back," she told Digital Spy. "We have been through a lot over the years, but I reached my limit the evening we broke up. It has been very difficult, but it's made me a much stronger person."

Following their split, Lydia and Arg saw each other in Mallorca, with their meeting filmed for TOWIE (of course!). Arg has reportedly battled addiction issues with alcohol, and after her numerous attempts to help him overcome these problems failed, Lydia told Arg she doesn't want him in her life in any way.

"I think for me it was tough because I don't really like to talk about my problems," Lydia said of the Mallorca row. "James and I hadn't had any conversations for the whole three months since our split. That was the first time we were face to face and I had no choice but to address what had happened."

While the confrontation was tough, Lydia insists she stands by that statement. She turned to her TOWIE co-stars for support after the scenes were filmed, but is pleased she managed to stick to her guns and express her feelings towards her ex.

"It was hard and afterwards I did have a cry with Chloe Lewis," Lydia added. " It was difficult and I'm glad it's done because for me now it means closure. It's done, it's out there and I've said what I wanted to say. I had to be quite brutal but that's the only way I could play it - it was all from the heart."

Now Lydia has moved on with her life, and romance is the last thing on her mind. When it comes to her priorities, Lydia says she is concentrating on her career rather than finding a man, and it will be that way for a long while to come.
